Debra L. Wolf, PMP
President

As PMICIE President, Debra has created the chapter's first Strategic PMO Organization Charter and the requisite Strategic Initiatives allowing volunteer leaders to create and manage programs that will deliver high member value-add services; in turn. increasing membership. Debra has and will continue to volunteer her time to grow and expand the project management community at both the national and international levels. Her mission is to BUILD strategically aligned and foundationally solid programs, that CREATE many excellent opportunities to DEVELOP, mentor and educate volunteers and anyone with a desire to grow their professional and personal leadership skills.

Debra is currently President of Strategic IT Services LLC and works with global companies to assess, start and/or build first PMO (Program / Project Management Office).

She is a PMP certified Senior Program / Project Manager with excellent skills in the areas of building PMOs, strategic / thought leadership and change management with a strong focus on being customer, systems, process & results oriented. In the near future, she looks forward to acquiring ACP, Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma and ITIL v3 certification.

This is Debra's 7th year serving as a member as a Board officer of the PMI Inland Empire Chapter. She currently facilitates PMP Prep Exam Workshops and works with students through regularly scheduled Study Groups to ensure they pass the exam.

Kent T. Truong, PMP
Past President

Kent Truong is currently a Senior IT Project Manager for Union Bank, managing various technical initiatives.

Prior to his post at Union Bank, Kent was a Vice President and Project Support Manager for PFF Bank & Trust (currently US Bank). He manages the project support office for the Bank, providing guidance and assistance to project managers on various bank initiatives as part of the Operational Risk Management Division.

Kent obtained his BA in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara and earned his MBA from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He obtained his PMP certification after attending a workshop offered by PMICIE in 2004.

Kent has over 10 years of project management experience in the financial services industry.


William McDermott
Vice President, Finance

William McDermott is an Information Systems and Technology professional with extensive experience in the management of all facets of IT operations including data center operations, service desk, desk side support, and network support. Having earned a BS degree in Computer Science, and with numerous certifications, he has spent 23 years applying his knowledge to every facet of his trade including consulting, P&L management, budgeting, project management, employee relations, due diligence, transitions/integrations, and site consolidations and closures.  William has nearly 13 years of experience in Finance and Accounting with P&L portfolios ranging from $12 to $36 million per year.  He has a considerable financial background in policies and procedures, budgeting and planning, and financial analysis.

Imelda (Mel) Cachola Sagisi, PMP, MBA, MSIS
Vice President, Communications

Mel is a certified PMP who also holds Masters Degrees in Business Administration and Information Systems from Hawaii Pacific University.

She has acquired a solid foundation in project management in various industries particularly in higher education, automotive, and financial industry. Mel excels in analyzing business requirements and understanding how systems can be integrated to improve business performance while providing excellent customer service.

Prior to moving to Southern California, Mel worked for Hawaii’s largest automotive business as a Strategic Initiatives Project Manager managing large enterprise wide projects ensuring seamless implementation from inception to closing involving systems selection, applications development and infrastructure projects.


Bill Morgan
Director, Member Relations

Bill Morgan is president and owner of TandemMSP which provides technology solutions to small and medium businesses in the Inland Empire and San Diego. His company is focused on providing proactive IT services. Don’t wait till it breaks.

He has 25 plus years’ professional system consulting serving The Fortune 500, Government, and Hi-Technology firms. Bill has success in the automation of Information Technology service management processes which include helpdesk, ticketing system, and device monitoring. Bill is proud to be part of the team that developed the TOPPS client/server system for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Ohio.

Bill started out in Little Rock, Arkansas where he obtained his B.S. in Industrial Management. He has lived in various parts of the United Stated that include, Texas, Virginia and Florida. He spent one year in Italy working at an aircraft manufacturing facility. Bill moved to California 2000 where he lived on a boat for 3 years.

Bill is a member of the Riverside Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of the Riverside Bicycle club. He enjoys mountain and road biking and taking RV trips.


Doris Gin, PMP
VP, Operations / Critical Issues

Doris Gin has been a project manager for over 10 years earning her PMP in 2005. She is a Senior Advisor with Firestorm Solutions LLC, which is a national leader in providing critical decision support and planning to corporations, schools and universities on issues of business continuity, crisis management and pandemic, safety, security, threat and vulnerability analysis. Doris has over 25 years of business information systems, including business continuity, and security and controls experience in the public sector and private industry.

Doris’ other experience includes work as a consultant for Arthur Andersen and Coopers and Lybrand, advising clients on information technology controls and data security. She was also an internal auditor for Coldwell Banker and worked as an internal auditor and business systems analyst for the County of Los Angeles, Department of the Auditor Controller.

Paul Henry, PMP
Director, Programs

Paul currently works for Southern California Edison as a senior business analyst. Prior to working for SCE, he owned and operated a mortgage and realty company, with offices in California and Nevada. He worked in the mortgage & realty industry from 1994 – 2010, and holds multiple broker licenses and his GRI credential. Paul recently completed his MBA at the University of California, Irvine at the Paul Merage School of Business. He focused his studies on Business Strategy, Investing, Wealth Management, and Finance. His International experience took him to Korea, Vietnam and Hong Kong. He also has a Bachelor Degree in Business Management from Pepperdine University. Paul’s project management experience is in the areas of business consulting, audits, and construction. Presently Paul is working on completing his PMP, as well as his CPA. His goal is to use his experience in business, consulting, and his education credentials to launch a consulting firm.


Renee Willis
Director, Special Projects

Renee C. Willis has spent the last 30 years providing Business Administration services in the Corporate Private Sector, and at the Los Angeles (LA) County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). While at the LA County MTA she worked as a Senior Administrative Analyst and Capital Project Manager in the Facilities Maintenance and Rail Wayside Division. Overseeing the Budget Development of the Operations Division $48 Million and Capital Projects of over $60 Million kept her very busy. Staff development of her team remained a high priority during her tenure. As a member of the Capital Project Oversight team she facilitated monthly meetings and quarterly variance analysis status checks with Rail Project Managers. Through vigorous training and oversight of the project managers her team’s rail projects stayed on schedule and many projects came in under budget. Her financial analysis and budgeting skills were fully utilized during the project implementation, during negotiation with vendors and while processing contracts through procurement. From concept, design, procurement, build through project closure she was involved. Renee is working on her PMI Certification (PMP) while working part time as a Professor in the Business and Applied Technology Department of Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Her 37 students enjoy the wealth of knowledge she shares as they embark on their careers.
