Presentation Abstract

In this presentation, Tammo Wilkens will focus on how to use AI immediately in our daily tasks and project management activities. It is based on his daily experience with AI, especially in his project management courses at Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Learning Objectives include:

• Attendees will be given an opportunity to actually apply AI right during the event
• Attendees will be able to overcome any resistance or apprehension regarding the coming of AI
• Tammo will also walk through an example of how he is creating his own, focused GPTs to augment his live courses
• And, most importantly. Tammo will disclose the mystery of "Alex"

 

Speaker Bio

Tammo T. Wilkens, MBA, P.E., PMP, CSM, has 46 years of experience, including 31 years of experience in project management. He has managed various projects in the software development, engineering, and construction industries for both contractors and owners in the private and public sectors. He has lectured and presented papers on multiple areas of project management and is a recognized subject-matter expert in planning, scheduling, and Earned Value Management. His experience also includes professional development and employee mentoring, training students in scheduling software systems, and developing and delivering PMP exam preparation courses. Tammo currently teaches the Certificate in Project Management and Microsoft Project 2019 Scheduling courses at Cal State Dominguez Hills, and is the author of the 'MS Project Training Manual ' and ‘Project Management Maturity, Back to the Basics’ publications.
