Presentation Abstract
In the healthcare industry, project management transcends from being just a business practice to a lifeline that ensures efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and most importantly, patient well-being. Here, strategic planning and meticulous execution directly impact lives, and the success of a project could mean the difference between health and hardship. In this presentation, David Bobrow will explore how effective healthcare project management can be maximized when combined with AI. Learning outcomes include:
• Learning how Healthcare is currently utilizing AI Fundamentals in Project Management
• Gaining exposure to current in-flight as well as recently completed healthcare projects
• Understanding the current state of awareness of AI in Healthcare Governance and Education
Speaker Bio
David Bobrow is an experienced Senior Project Manager with a demonstrated history of project management success working in the Hospital & Healthcare industry. He is currently working for Rady Children’s Health (formerly known as CHOC – Children’s Hospital of Orange County), and he has led the execution of strategic initiatives as part of the Project Management Office at CHOC IT. He has also successfully led numerous project implementations in the areas of Revenue Cycle, Clinical Applications, Systems Integration, Information Security, Infrastructure, and Clinic Builds over the last 14 years.
Before David became a project manager, he had 23 years of experience working in IT for healthcare organizations such as CHOC, Perot Systems, St. Joseph Health System (now known as Providence), and Loma Linda University Medical Center. He also won the prestigious 2022 President's Recognition Award from CHOC for bringing the latest industry knowledge and practices to the PMO team.
